Is our health compromised by eating red and processed meat?

People’s health is at a high risk as they consume red and processed meat which has notably resulted in Type 2 Diabetes and Dementia amongst other serious health issues. Recent literature has also recommended that eating more than two portions of processed red meat per week increases the risk of developing dementia and at the same time, having processed meat on a daily basis can lead to a type 2 diabetes increase of about 15%. Taking out red and processed meat from a person’s diet, and adding in healthy options such as nuts, beans and even tofu can prove to be helpful.
