Concentration plays a key role in strength training especially because the real work involves the brain’s signals to the muscles ordering them to work. The muscles then feedback to the brain and inform him if the task has been completed satisfactorily. This cycle of signals and feedback within the body is the core reason for the success of any physical effort, and if concentration lapses then the work out session can be less productive.
